Job summary

Penn State University Park is seeking a Director of Undergraduate Equity Programs to advance inclusivity for undergraduates in the Eberly College of Science. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion, you will design and assess programs that foster belonging and support identity development.

You will lead forums, trainings, and events, partner with campus units, and manage budgeting and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and assess programs that support identity development, belonging, and cultural celebration.
  • Serve as a visible and accessible resource for students seeking support around equity and inclusion.
  • Partner with student affairs, academic departments, and other campus units to embed equity and inclusion into student-facing programs and services.
  • Collect data to assess the success of programs and initiatives; prepare and provide reports to leadership.
  • Meet with students related to equity and belonging concerns and issues; participate in remedial action plans.
  • Educate students about avenues and resources for reporting concerns.
  • Administer the budget for the assigned area; allocate resources appropriately.
  • Maintain industry awareness; update leadership on best practices to create a more inclusive environment.
  • Facilitate student forums, focus groups, and listening sessions.
