Job summary

BrightCore is seeking an experienced treasury leader for an interim Director of Treasury role. You will own reporting, compliance, cash and liquidity management, banking relationships, and investments, partnering with Finance, Payments, Legal, Product, and Engineering.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in treasury, understands payment platforms, and has a hands-on, builder mindset with a track record of leading teams and scalable processes in fast-changing environments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive treasury ownership, Director level or above.
• Hands-on experience with liquidity planning, cash forecasting, investments, and banking relationships.
• Understanding of how a payment platform operates and treasury linkage.
• Public accounting background, Big 4 preferred; strong leadership experience.

BrightCore has an exciting consulting opportunity for a Directory of Treasury. This interim role will own the reporting, compliance, cash and liquidity management, banking and investments. The ideal candidate brings strong technical judgment and a hands‑on, builder mindset. You’ll work cross-functionally with Finance, Payments, Legal, Product, and Engineering to mitigate risk, optimize capital efficiency, and develop scalable infrastructure that supports new products and market expansion.

Major Responsibilities & Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive treasury ownership currently at the Director level and above.
• Must understand how a payment platform operates and how the treasury function ties into it.
• Hands‑on experience leading liquidity planning, cash forecasting, investments, and banking relationships.
• Public accounting experience, ideally Big 4, plus.
• Proven success building teams, systems, controls, and processes in a fast‑changing environment, with strong executive communication and influence.
• A strong ownership mindset. You are comfortable moving quickly, working through ambiguity, and rolling up your sleeves when the situation calls for it.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA, MST, CTP or another relevant advanced credential strongly preferred.
• Client will only accept W2 consultants.
