Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Director to lead all learning for the Technology team and Machine Learning programs. You will develop a learning culture, scale onboarding, and partner with engineering leaders to address needs while driving impact across engineers, designers, TPMs, QE, product managers, data scientists, and researchers.

You will manage a fast-moving learning team, design multi-week onboarding curricula, measure program impact with metrics, and influence senior leadership in a matrix

Qualifications

• Strong track record leading strategic learning programs in a fast-paced tech org.
• Hands-on experience with learning programs and machine learning.
• Experience teaching, public speaking, and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Tech Learning program with teaching engineers and program managers to onboard and grow new members.
• Develop onboarding curriculum into a multi-week program with topics and projects.
• Partner with engineering leaders to identify learning needs and craft effective solutions.
• Identify silos of expertise and promote knowledge sharing across the tech org.
• Own and enhance mentorship programs in Technology.
• Develop metrics to continually improve programs.
