Northwestern Medical Center in Vermont is recruiting a full-time Director of Surgical Services. The role provides leadership for surgical services across OR, ambulatory, PACU, infusion, and sterile processing, with emphasis on safe patient flow and regulatory readiness.

You will lead budget stewardship, staff development, physician partnerships, and data-driven improvement, shaping service-line growth and performance in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Current RN licensure in Vermont required if nursing degree.
• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• CNOR, CSSM, NE-BC, NEA-BC, CPPS or similar certifications preferred.
• Minimum five years in progressive surgical services leadership; three years in management.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for safe, efficient Surgical Services operations and patient-centered flow.
• Oversee staffing, leader development, and workforce planning for Surgical Services.
• Lead leader development, competency, and professional growth across teams.
• Oversee equipment, supplies, facilities, capital planning and resource stewardship.
• Guide communication, change management, physician partnership, and team engagement.
• Use data and recurring reviews to improve quality, safety, access, growth, and performance.
