Job summary

New Mercies Ministries in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Director of Supportive Housing to launch and grow a Christ-centered housing ministry. This onsite leadership role blends vision, program design, and hands-on family support to create safety, structure, and hope for families.

You will design the program, establish systems and staffing, recruit and shepherd staff and volunteers, and collaborate with partner churches and community agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable families is required.
• Housing, shelter, ministry, or leadership experience preferred.

Position Overview

The Director of Supportive Housing will lead the launch and growth of a new housing ministry for New Mercies Ministries (learn more about the ministry here ). This role requires both vision and faithful execution, building the program from the ground up while actively serving families day to day. This leader will help create a place of safety, structure, and hope, while establishing a team to sustain and expand the ministry.
