Job summary

Yost Foods, Inc. is seeking a full-time Director of Supply Chain in Brunswick, Ohio to oversee procurement, inventory, planning, logistics, and supplier relations.

You will drive cost-efficient, resilient strategies aligned with growth and profitability, while leading a team and coordinating with sales, operations, and finance. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field with 5–7 years of experience in supply chain management, including leadership experience and ERP/MRP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive supply chain management experience; at least 2 years in a management role or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier management.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics; excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements resilient, cost-efficient, customer-focused supply chain strategy aligned with growth, margin, and sustainability objectives.
• Establishes KPIs and monitors performance against targets.
• Oversees sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging, contract services, and indirect supplies.
• Develops and maintains strong supplier relationships for quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
• Monitors commodity markets and industry trends impacting ingredient availability and costs.
• Improves forecasting accuracy through collaboration with sales, operations, and finance.
• Implements systems and processes that enhance inventory visibility and balance service levels with working capital.
• Assists in developing and managing supply chain budgets and operating expenses.
• Analyzes supply chain costs and identifies opportunities for improved profitability.

Salary Range: $140,000.00 To $160,000.00 Annually

Yost Foods, Inc. is seeking a full-time Director of Supply Chain to oversee and optimize all aspects of the company's supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and supplier relationships. They will develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier management; experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics; excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem solving skills required.
• Experience with food safety and quality systems including HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and FDA regulations preferred.
• Strong project, time management, written communication, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with vendors, management, co-workers, and customers
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments effectively
