Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY seeks a full-time, board-certified stroke neurologist to serve as Director of Stroke and Vascular Neurology. The candidate should have outstanding clinical skills, leadership ability, and an interest in outpatient and inpatient stroke care, along with a track record in clinical or translational research.

The Division currently includes eight faculty Neurologists and aims to expand services as a thrombectomy-capable Stroke Center.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
• New York Medical License.
• Graduate from an accredited ACGME Neurology Residency Program.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology.

Responsabilités

• Employed full time position based at Mount Sinai South Nassau.
• Inpatient vascular neurology consultative services.
• Call coverage for stroke.
• Teaching and/or research opportunities available.
