Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead Corporate Sourcing and Contracts. You will manage a team of principals, specialists and analysts, guiding daily sourcing, procurement and contracting activities across engineering, information technology and corporate functions.

The role partners with executive stakeholders to negotiate terms, manage supplier performance, and ensure compliant purchasing.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in a senior sourcing/contracting role acrossEngineering, IT and/or corporate functions.
• Able to lead a team of 5–10 direct reports with strong people leadership.
• Excellent knowledge of sourcing, contracting and procurement processes; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build a robust sourcing, procurement and contracting plan to support business operations.
• Lead the development of sourcing strategies and advise on strategic direction to maximize value.
• Coordinate purchase and contracting requests from stakeholders across all corporate functions.
• Set expectations and standards for bid events, RFQs, proposals, and award recommendations.
• Negotiate terms, scopes of work, and pricing to protect the company.
• Ensure internal reviews and approvals for contract deviations during negotiations.
• Issue Purchase Orders, Service Orders and contracts per policy.
• Identify alternative suppliers to fulfill business needs and manage supplier performance.
• Travel to business locations domestically and internationally as required.
