Job summary

Monotelo Advisors Inc. is seeking a Director of Financial Planning to lead the firm’s planning function, manage staff, and drive growth through wealth management, tax optimization, and planning technology integration.

This hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the office to maintain service levels for clients and team members. CFP designation is required, with CPA/EA as a plus, and 5+ years of experience in financial planning.

Qualifications

• CFP designation is required; CPA or EA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning or advisory services.
• Strong technical knowledge in retirement, estate, tax, and investment planning.
• Experience with planning software RightCapital, BlackRock, and Interactive Brokers.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing financial planning, delivering full-spectrum plans.
• Supervise one junior planner and support staff; mentor to CFP standards.
• Champion AI tools to enhance workflows and client outcomes.
• Collaborate on strategic planning, staffing, and software integration.
• Ensure compliance with CFP ethics and regulatory requirements; oversee quality.
