School Union 69, composed of the PreK-8 schools of Hope, Appleton, and Lincolnville in beautiful Mid-coast Maine, is seeking a Director of Special Services (.8 FTE). This is a year-round position.
This position includes Special Education, Title IX Coordinator, Affimative Action Officer, and McKinney Vento Coordinator. Among the three schools, we have roughly 100 students in Special Education. The other duties require infrequent attention on an as-needed basis.

This position requires a Maine DOE 030 certification endorsement or the ability to qualify for this certification.
Pay for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, dependent on experience. Dental insurance, 403b retirement plan, and a prorated health insurance benefit are available benefits. Salary and benefits will be reviewed annually.
