Job summary

Torginol in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Sourcing and Procurement leader to manage the function, align raw material requisitions with production needs, and set annual targets.

You will convert requisitions into Purchase Orders, negotiate contracts, monitor consignments, and identify alternate sources to ensure supply continuity.

Responsibilities

• Review and align raw material requisitions with production requirements and inventory targets.
• Convert requisitions into Purchase Orders and place them.
• Set annual standard prices for raw materials in the business plan.
• Develop and report on cost savings initiatives.
• Negotiate and maintain raw material contracts, including consignment agreements.
• Collaborate with AP and vendors to identify and resolve payable issues.
• Monitor economic trends affecting the raw material supply base and alert management to shortages.
• Meet with suppliers to ensure pricing or supply changes are understood.
• Identify and develop alternate supply sources and qualify them via vendor qualification.
• Lead sourcing strategy for TORGINOL quartz materials and colorfast pigments for Quartz flooring products.
• Maintain qualified quartz and resin input sources to support durability and production continuity.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Product teams to meet TORGINOL technical and packaging specs.
• Procure inputs for TORGINOL Polymer Flake, including resins, minerals, additives, pigments and supplies.
• Support Flake production by ensuring materials meet sizing, blending, color matching and packaging needs.
• Monitor and report monthly raw material consignments to suppliers.
• Resolve issues with rejected materials and pursue credit or replacements when vendors are at fault.

Salary Range: $125,000.00 To $150,000.00 Annually

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage the Sourcing and Procurement function to ensure company goals and objectives are met:

• Review/Ensure all raw material requisitions align with production requirements and inventory targets.
• Convert raw material requisitions into Purchase Orders and place them.
• Set annual raw material standard prices for the business plan.
• Develop and report on cost savings initiatives.
• Negotiate and maintain raw material contracts/agreements, including consignment agreements.
• Work with A/P and Vendors to identify and resolve payable issues.
• Keep constantly abreast of economic or business situations as they affect our raw material supply base. Notify Management of short supply situations or negative effects on key commodities.
• Meet with raw material suppliers as needed to ensure changes in pricing or supply situations are understood.
• Identify and develop alternate sources of supply and qualify same using the Vendor qualification process.
• Lead sourcing strategy for TORGINOL® quartz materials, including uniformly shaped and graded quartz granules, and high-quality colorfast pigments used in Quartz™ flooring products.
• Maintain qualified supply sources for quartz and resin-related inputs to support durability, chemical resistance, UV stability, slip resistance, custom blend availability, and production continuity.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Product teams to ensure sourced resin quartz components meet TORGINOL® technical, color, packaging, and customer-specific blend requirements.
• Procure goods and raw material inputs required to manufacture TORGINOL® Polymer Flake™, including water-based resin materials, organic minerals, additives, pigments, and related production supplies.
• Support Flake production by ensuring materials are available for standardized sizing, custom blending, color matching, resin-system compatibility, packaging, and labeling options.
• Monitor, maintain, and report raw material consignments monthly to respective suppliers.
• Resolve issues dealing with rejected raw materials; ensure credit or cost-free replacement is issued if the vendor is at fault.
