SoftPro, a division of Fidelity National Financial, seeks a Director of Software Engineering in Raleigh, NC. This hybrid role leads engineering and QA for our SaaS platform, mentoring teams and delivering enterprise software in financial services.

SoftPro is looking for a **Director of Software Engineering** that will lead our engineering and quality assurance efforts for our SaaS platform. The successful person in this role is a technical expert with a strong track record of delivery of enterprise software, especially in the financial services sector, in addition to being an emphatic mentor with strong leadership and change management skills. This position is in **Raleigh, NC** and is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days a week in office. This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer.**What will I do as the Director of Software Engineering at SoftPro?*** Plan, guide and direct all development, quality assurance (QA) and application security activities on our SaaS platform.* Be a thought and process leader and mentor for all team members.* Advocate for. Implement and measure the outcomes of an AI assisted and/or Agentic AI SDLC.* Working closely with Product teams, ensure that both functional and non-functional requirements are correctly prioritized and delivered on time and budget.* Create opportunities for teams to reduce technical debt, increase code coverage and quality throughout the software lifecycle.* Hire, nurture and retain strong technical talent across all teams.* Ensure that all Software Development efforts follow organizational policies, procedures and industry best practices.**What do I need to be successful as the Director of Software Engineering at SoftPro?*** **Education** + A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering is required; a master's degree would be preferred.
