NOOTER Construction is seeking a Director of Scheduling to provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide construction scheduling across industrial, manufacturing, technology, and capital projects. This role can be based in Toledo, OH, Philadelphia, PA, or Chicago, IL.
As a Director of Scheduling, you will provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide construction scheduling activities across complex industrial, manufacturing, technology, and capital construction projects. This role is responsible for driving scheduling excellence, developing high‑performing teams, improving project predictability, and providing executive leadership with critical insights into project performance, resource planning, forecasting, schedule risk, and successful project delivery.

As the Director of Scheduling, you will lead the organization's scheduling function, overseeing a portfolio of industrial construction, manufacturing, technology, and capital projects. A typical day includes collaborating with Operations, Project Management, Engineering, Estimating, Construction, and Project Controls leaders to establish scheduling priorities, evaluate project performance, and identify critical path risks that could impact project delivery. You will provide executive‑level schedule analysis, forecasting, resource planning, and portfolio reporting while overseeing the development and maintenance of complex project schedules. This role also involves leading and mentoring a team of scheduling professionals, establishing governance standards, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Through strategic leadership and data‑driven decision‑making, you will help improve project execution, resource utilization, forecasting accuracy, and schedule reliability while ensuring leadership has visibility into project health and organizational performance.
This position may be based out of our Toledo, Ohio, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, or Chicago, Illinois office; the selected candidate may choose whichever location is convenient for them.
