Job Purpose
The Director of Sales Operations (DSO) leads a team of Assistive Technology Professionals (ATP) and oversees the sales process to achieve high market growth. The role provides coaching, mentorship, and support to drive revenue growth and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Compensation
Base salary: $75,000 - $120,000 per year, plus annual incentive performance bonuses. Compensation depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high‑performing sales team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members to support long‑term growth goals.
- Perform quarterly ride‑alongs with each team member to evaluate and support ATP development.
- Create and implement growth and development plans for Assistive Technology Professionals.
- Develop and execute strategies for expanding the area referral base across key business segments.
- Develop new referral relationships and grow existing referrals through strategic external activities including business partnership reviews, account meetings, and cold calls.
- Represent Numotion at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events.
- Manage the financial performance of the team to meet revenue goals, optimize gross margin, and grow EBITDA.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive consistent pipeline growth.
- Engage and partner closely with cross‑functional business leaders, ensuring open communication and alignment to shared goals.
- Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform the job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission.
- Adhere to employee and customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations.
- Provide timely and effective solutions for customer concerns, continually improving customer service as a top priority.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, including leading, mentoring, and/or coaching.
Preferred Competencies
- Experience in a clinical/therapy role and/or ATP role.
- Knowledge of Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT) business.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a track record of data‑driven decision‑making.

Physical Work Requirements
- Ability to travel at least 50%.
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, and fingers with computer equipment.
- Prolonged periods of work at a desk and/or on a computer.
- Occasional movement and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
