SVG Motors Dayton is seeking a Sales Leader who will develop people and protect the standard across our Ohio network. This role focuses on coaching, accountability, and building future leaders rather than closing every deal.
You will run daily 1:1s, rehearse scripts, and partner with our War Room to align process, pricing, and presentation with a people-first approach.
Base: $78,000/year | Target Total Earnings: $150,000-$250,000
This role is for someone who wants to help build the future model of automotive retail — not protect the old one.
Have you reached a point in your career where your own success isn’t enough anymore?
Where developing people, building confidence, and helping others win has become more rewarding than closing your own deals?
If so, keep reading.
SVG Motors is a multi‑rooftop automotive group across Ohio built on a model most dealers won’t attempt: no commissioned salespeople. Our Sales Professionals own the entire customer relationship from first contact through delivery — including the presentation of protection products. Our War Room, a centralized desking team at our headquarters, handles deal structure and figure presentation so your team stays focused on people and process.
This is a daily investment in human beings. You will show up every morning knowing your job is to make the people around you better — better at their craft, better at serving customers, better at building a career they’re proud of. You are not desking deals. You are not working with banks. You have one job: develop people and protect the standard.
Your customers are never limited to what’s on your lot. With 7 SVG rooftops across Ohio, your team has access to new Chevrolet inventory across Greenville, Urbana, and Washington Court House — plus Toyota, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM. Used inventory flows across every location. You should never lose a deal because you don’t have the right car. With SVG’s combined inventory, you almost always have the right car. Your job is to make sure your team knows it, believes it, and uses it every single time.
You’ve had real success and somewhere along the way you realized the scoreboard stopped being the point. You get more out of watching someone on your team close their first deal — really close it, because they earned it — than you ever got from closing your own. You believe a blank calendar is a mindset problem before it’s a scheduling problem. You believe process isn’t a cage — it’s a foundation. You believe great leadership creates independence, confidence, and future leaders. Automotive experience is preferred but not required. What is non‑negotiable is your commitment to our process and your belief that the people in your building are worth your best every single day.
