Reporting to resort leadership, you will forecast weekly results, analyze trends, and communicate opportunities to improve performance and guest experience across properties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • 3–10 years of progressive hotel or resort revenue management experience.
  • Proficiency with RMS, PMS and CRS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy for the resort.
  • Conduct daily pickup analysis and adjust strategy based on performance.
  • Analyze occupancy, revenue, booking pace and KPIs to identify trends.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and monitor market trends.
  • Create and maintain a 12-month rolling demand calendar.
  • Align revenue strategies with resort leadership and objectives.
  • Create, implement, and adjust pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Prepare weekly dynamic forecasts with variances and budget comparisons.
  • Run daily pace reports and communicate trends and recommendations.

Description

The Director of Revenue is responsible for maximizing resort revenue through strategic revenue management, distribution strategy, and effective oversight of the Guest Experience/Reservation Sales department. This position leads the day-to-day revenue and yield operations while ensuring that all Agilysys and NAVIS/IDEAS system processes are effectively utilized to drive occupancy, revenue, conversion, and guest satisfaction.

Essential job functions include:
  • Oversee the Resort’s revenue management and distribution strategy and manage day-to-day yield operations.
  • Conduct daily pickup analysis and make strategy adjustments based on current performance and market conditions.
  • Analyze occupancy, revenue, booking pace, and other key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct competitive benchmark studies and monitor relevant market trends.
  • Create and maintain a 12-month rolling demand calendar.
  • Partner with Resort leadership to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Create, implement, and adjust pricing strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Analyze STAR reports and other industry and internal performance reports.
  • Prepare and communicate a weekly dynamic forecast, including expected results, variances, and comparisons to budget.
  • Run daily pace reports and communicate performance, trends, and recommended strategies to the management team.
  • Communicate revenue trends and recommendations to the General Manager, Director of Hotel Operations, and Director of Sales & Marketing, particularly regarding pricing, policies, packages, and marketing opportunities.
  • Participate as a key member of the Resort’s core Revenue Management team.
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3 to 10 years of progressive hotel or resort revenue management experience, including multi-property or luxury/resort environment.
  • High proficiency in Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Property Management Systems (PMS), Central Reservation Systems (CRS).
