Provincial Senior Living in Peoria, AZ, seeks a Director of Celebrations to lead resident activities and programming across the community, focusing on health, wellbeing, engagement, and growth.

You will supervise the Celebrations Department, plan holiday events, coordinate volunteers, manage budgets, and drive public relations with the broader community while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Education, Gerontology, Social Work, Adult Education.
• Three to five years related experience.
• Two years supervisory/management experience.
• Must be at least 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and conducts lifestyle programs for residents.
• Plans appropriate programs for holidays and special events.
• Recruits and develops resources for services to residents and coordinates volunteers.
• Advises and motivates residents regarding activities based on interests and growth opportunities.
• Prepares and organizes a calendar of events; maintains a budget.
