Job summary

Continuum Medical Staffing is seeking a Director of Therapy and Rehabilitation Services to support a hospital system in Hope, AR. The role will oversee daily operations, clinical performance, and strategic direction of rehabilitation services across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The Director will supervise PT and PTA staff, provide evals, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and coordinate with physicians and leadership to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas PT License and Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2-5 years of management experience in a therapy setting.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently in a smaller team environment.
• Familiarity with EMR/documentation systems.
• Strong time management and adaptability in mixed settings.
• Experience in rural or critical access hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and clinical performance of rehabilitation services.
• Provide supervision and support to PT and PTA staff, including new evals.
• Direct strategic direction of rehabilitation services within the facility.
• Manage therapy programs, ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee budgeting and operational efficiency, coordinate with physicians and leadership.
• Develop treatment programs to improve patient outcomes and ensure Medicaid/Medicare compliance.

The Director will also provide supervision and support to all PT and PTA staff including providing evals for PTs. The Director of Therapy and Rehabilitation Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, clinical performance, and strategic direction of rehabilitation services within the facility. This role manages therapy programs while ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, budgeting, and operational efficiency. The Director collaborates with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment programs, improve patient outcomes, and maintain compliance with all Arkansas state and federal healthcare regulations. Requirements: Active Arkansas PT License and Current AHA BLS Certification. Minimum experience : requesting 2-5 years management experience in a therapy setting. Strong communication and patient education skills, Ability to work independently in a smaller team environment, Familiarity with EMR/documentation systems, and Strong time management and adaptability in mixed settings. Preferred candidates will have prior experience in rural or critical access hospital settings and be comfortable floating between inpatient and outpatient caseloads.
