Job summary

Elba Rehabilitation & Wellness Center in Alabama is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead PT, OT and SLP teams, and to guide individualized treatment plans that center residents’ goals, independence and dignity. This leadership role requires knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid rehab regulations, strong team mentorship, and collaboration with the Administrator and department heads.

You’ll recruit, train and monitor staff to sustain high-quality, compliant care, while shaping a positive facility

Qualifications

• Active AL license in PT, OT, SLP, COTA or PTA.
• 2–3+ years rehab leadership experience; LTC/SNF preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid rehab regulations and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee PT, OT, and speech therapy staff and services.
• Guide individualized treatment planning centered on each resident’s goals and quality of life.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and reimbursement requirements.
• Partner with Administrator, DON and department heads as a leadership team.
• Recruit, train and mentor therapy staff passionate about restorative care.
• Monitor outcomes, documentation and program quality to maintain effective and compliant care.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Active AL license as a PT, OT, SLP, COTA, PTA
• 2-3+ years of rehab leadership experience, LTC/SNF strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid rehab regulations and documentation standards
• A leadership style rooted in respect, consistency, and heart
