Job summary

Payette Healthcare of Cascadia and Weiser Care of Cascadia seeks a Director of Rehabilitation to lead our therapy services across both facilities. This leadership role oversees rehabilitation programs, ensuring high-quality patient care and fostering a collaborative team environment for physical, occupational, and speech therapists.

The role requires licensure in one of the therapy disciplines, a track record in rehabilitation within SNF/long-term care, and strong leadership and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
• Valid state licensure or certification in one of the respective therapy disciplines
• Proven experience in rehabilitation services within a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in rehabilitation therapy
• Ability to develop and implement effective programs and workflows
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee rehabilitation programs tailored to the needs of residents in both facilities
• Lead, mentor, and supervise therapy staff including physical, occupational, and speech therapists
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans that promote optimal recovery and independence
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy services, making adjustments as needed
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting of patient progress and outcomes
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that encourages professional development and continuous improvement
