Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead and oversee all rehab services across our facilities. You will mentor clinicians, coordinate patient care, and ensure high-quality outcomes while supporting the growth of your team.

The role emphasizes teaching, collaboration, and patient-first care within a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and expertise in Medicare/billing are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in state of practice
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third‑party billing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make independent decisions and problem solve
• Thorough knowledge of state practice acts
• Ability to positively interact with patients, families, and staff

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of clinicians delivering rehab services.
• Oversee all rehab services in the facility and support direct patient care.
• Mentor and grow clinical staff and coordinate referrals.
• Design, implement, and execute rehab programs to restore patient function.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet patient needs.

• As a Director of Rehabilitation, you are leading a team of compassionate clinicians who help patients get well. You and your team are bringing power back to the patients you serve. In doing this, you will oversee all rehab services in your facility, support your team by providing direct patient care, and ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
• Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
• Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
• Must possess the ability to effectively manage/motivate staff.

Posted Salary Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Hr.

Bonus

USD $10,000.00
