Director of Real Estate Development | Affordable Housing

Are you a hands‑on affordable housing development leader who knows how to take projects from the earliest stages of planning and financing through construction and completion? We're seeking a Director of Real Estate Development who can hit the ground running, lead complex affordable housing developments from concept to completion, and bring deep expertise in entitlements, tax credits, public funding, community partnerships, and project execution.

We're looking for someone who has deep experience in affordable housing finance, tax credits, public funding applications, community engagement, and leading development teams. You'll oversee a pipeline of approximately 20 projects while managing a team of project managers and development professionals.

What We're Looking For:

• Affordable housing development experience (required)
• Funding applications, grants, loans, and public financing
• Experience leading projects from acquisition through construction and closeout
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Ability to navigate community meetings, public presentations, and stakeholder engagement
