Job summary

The Staff Pad, partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA, seeks an experienced Director of Radiology to lead the day-to-day operations of the Radiology Department and imaging services. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and coordination with physicians, hospital leadership, and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, budgeting with the CFO, equipment management, and guiding Mammography and imaging accreditation

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health services field preferred.
• Current ARRT certification; ARRT certification in at least two imaging disciplines.
• 5+ years of hospital ARRT experience with direct patient care.
• 3+ years of clinical management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in Diagnostic Radiology and related imaging modalities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance and optimize workflow efficiency.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and capital purchases.
• Partner with CFO to prepare and maintain the Radiology budget.
• Implement policies, procedures and safety protocols in imaging.
• Oversee Mammography Program including accreditation and FDA inspections.
• Oversee Imaging accreditation programs.
• Maintain knowledge of TJC, ACR, and ARRT standards and regulations.
• Review the Charge Description Master and updates to CPT codes.

In this role, you will oversee staffing and scheduling, coordinate with other departments to support seamless patient care, and build strong working relationships with physicians, hospital leadership, and staff across the organization. Schedule: Full-Time | Days

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance and optimize workflow efficiency
• Oversee equipment maintenance and recommend capital equipment and supply purchases
• Partner with the CFO to prepare, justify, and maintain the Radiology Department budget
• Implement policies and procedures and stay current with imaging technology and safety protocols
• Oversee and participate in all aspects of the Mammography Program, including accreditation and FDA inspections
• Oversee and participate in all Imaging accreditation programs
• Maintain knowledge of TJC, ACR, and ARRT standards and state and federal Radiology regulations
• Review the Charge Description Master and recommend updates to CPT codes and billable amounts

What We Are Looking For

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology required
• Bachelor’s degree in a health services field preferred
• Current ARRT certification required; ARRT certification in at least 2 imaging disciplines
• 5+ years of hospital experience as an ARRT with direct patient care
• 3+ years of clinical management or supervisory experience
• Experience in Diagnostic Radiology, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, CT, Special Procedures, or MRI
