Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE, seeks a Director - R&D to guide product development and lead the R&D strategy. You will coordinate with Marketing, Business Development and Division Management to set the 5-year direction and oversee senior teams to ensure R&D excellence.

Applicants should have 15+ years in R&D with an MS or PhD in Materials Engineering or Physics. This role offers opportunities to influence global manufacturing innovations and drive strategic growth.

• 15+ years of R&D experience.
• MS or PhD in Materials Engineering or Physics preferred.

Mansioni

• Sets the R&D direction per division objectives to maximize product development and manufacturing excellence.
• Participates in high-level meetings and defines policies and plans to achieve R&D objectives.
• Approves budgets and capital expenditures as directed by top management.
• Selects subordinate R&D management to ensure smooth operations and provides training as required.
• Develops and maintains 5-year R&D direction with Marketing, Business Development and Division Management.
• Provides technical direction regarding potential acquisitions and subcontracting partners.
