Epiq Solutions is seeking a Director of PMO in Rolling Meadows, IL, to lead a growing team that manages cross-functional projects from concept to lifecycle and sustainment. You will drive process maturity, set governance, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery for complex programs.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in tech PM, experience leading a PMO, and a background in product development for federal customers. Expect travel and security-clearance considerations in this strategic role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in technology product development.
• 2+ years managing a team of project managers.
• Experience leading product development using formal processes.
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related technical field.

• Maintains hands-on control of the program through a process of regular program reviews, design reviews, and staff meetings.
• Maintains program visibility through regular technical, management, and progress meetings. Interface with customers to maintain effective relationships to instill and enhance the customer’s confidence in Epiq’s ability to deliver.
• Defines project execution and process improvements that can increase execution velocity.
• Provides regular project status updates to executive leadership.

Introduction

At Epiq Solutions, the project management organization owns cross functional project launch, planning, control, and delivery against timeline and budget as well as the project management discipline and process. The Director of PMO leads a growing team of project managers who work across all three Epiq Solutions business units, engineering functions, and with customers to ensure we delight customers and deliver for the business.

Epiq Solutions is seeking a Director of PMO to lead a team that manages cross functional projects and product development from concept to commercialization to lifecycle and sustainment. Product development projects will be a mix of simple to complex and will be internally and externally funded. Many projects are driven by requirements from Federal Government customers.

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

• Financial literacy and business operations experience.


• Willing to travel up to 20%, primarily to Epiq locations in Frederick, Maryland and Montreal, Canada, as well as to customer locations as required.


• Willing and able to obtain a security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a project manager of federal contracts or defense systems.


• Engineering or technical background.
