Director of Program Quality

The Director of Program Quality leads a Program Quality Team that delivers high-quality training and support across all BGCTM sites. This position oversees targeted program development in all BGCA core areas and leads site assessments by ensuring accurate tools effective data analysis and results that drive quality improvement. The Director of Program Quality collaborates with Club Directors Site Coordinators and programming staff to deliver engaging developmentally rich youth experiences and oversees system-wide special events and specialty camps to maintain alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop refresh and deliver meaningful training content to all program staff.
  • Develop and refine the programming orientation for newly hired staff members.
  • Regularly analyze data actively solicit feedback from staff and members to determine the quality and quantity of program offerings.
  • Develop tools to accurately measure and report Youth Program Quality Intervention (YPQI) outcomes.
  • Work closely with Directors to develop strategies to attract and retain youth middle and teen members.
  • Attain and sustain 70% of the program content via formal lesson plans and 30% open learning time for members.
  • Serve as the direct liaison with the Boys & Girls Club of America National Youth Outcomes Initiative (NYOI).
  • Participate in the development implementation and monitoring of the Clubs annual budget.
  • Evaluate Club programs to ensure programs / activities are meeting and exceeding critical components such as gender and cultural diversity.
  • ALL BGCTM employees have the responsibility to help maintain the safety of our members and staff and ensure an optimal Club experience for all.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or certification in a specialty area.
  • Minimum of five years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs to youth and teens or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Must be able to perform duties which require walking talking hearing standing sitting and / or bending for long periods of time. May occasionally be required to kneel run and / or climb.
  • Must be able to use hands and arms to enter data into the computer use the telephone and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to perform surface and deep cleaning appropriately using potentially hazardous cleaners including bleach as needed.
  • Must be able to lift move manipulate and or hold objects up to 45 pounds. Objects that exceed the 45-pound weight limit require additional assistance when moving lifting or manipulating.
