Job summary

ASSA ABLOY seeks a Director of Product Security to define and drive the security strategy for our product portfolio. This leadership role partners with engineering to embed secure development practices, threat modeling, and risk management across multiple products.

You will own SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 initiatives, manage audit readiness, and lead a growing security and compliance team. You will report to the CTO and collaborate with executives to align security with business objectives,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security, compliance, or risk roles at a leadership level.
• Proven track record leading SOC 2 Type 2 programs and familiarity with ISO 27001.
• Experience building or scaling security programs across multiple products/teams.
• Hands-on experience with compliance automation platforms (e.g., Vanta).
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define security strategy and multi-year roadmap for product security.
• Partner with engineering to embed secure development and threat modeling.
• Own compliance programs, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and audit readiness.
• Lead and scale security and compliance teams and manage external vendors.
• Serve as executive liaison for security reviews, questionnaires, and audits.
