Job summary

Meta FinTech seeks a Director of Product, Financial Integrity to lead risk, compliance and customer care for payers across a global payments platform. You will partner with engineering and design to deliver high‑quality, secure payments experiences, balancing speed, scale, and user trust.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience managing product organizations at scale.
  • 8+ years of experience designing web interfaces and user experiences.
  • 8+ years of experience taking a web product idea from concept through launch.
  • 8+ years of experience with product management or product design.
  • BA/BS Degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a shared vision across the company and align priorities for product execution.
  • Drive product development with engineers and designers.
  • Incorporate usability studies, research and market analysis into requirements to improve user satisfaction.
  • Manage tradeoffs in a high-scale ML system with multiple models and precision/recall considerations.
  • Advise on user-centered iterations to simplify paying for others and Meta.
  • Oversee a payments infrastructure enabling fast global rollouts and local payment features.
  • Foster a payments culture focused on security, trust, privacy, and user convenience.
  • Evolve the merchant payment experience for onboarding, receiving funds and services.

Director of Product, Financial Integrity

Meta FinTech’s Financial Integrity team plays a critical role in keeping our user community safe, meeting regulatory commitments, and reducing friction for our advertisers. This leader will execute on our bold vision to empower everyone to participate in the digital economy, delivering experiences across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger. Through our Family of Apps, Meta is connecting billions of people around the world with hundreds of millions of businesses. Our users are engaging in a myriad of financial activities, ranging from paying for our services to sending money to merchants as easily as sending a message. Across those scaled experiences, we need to make high‑velocity risk decisions, protecting both our business and the community from fraud and scams. This leader will think holistically about risk, compliance, and customer care for payers.

Responsibilities
  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.
  • Drive product development with a team of world‑class engineers and designers.
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
  • Manage tradeoffs associated with a high‑scale ML system with many purpose‑specific models, understanding the importance of both precision and recall in different contexts.
  • Bring a user‑centered approach to iterating and enhancing current experiences to make paying others and paying Meta more seamless.
  • Drive a global payments infrastructure that optimizes speed of global rollout and depth of local payments features.
  • Build and influence a payments culture that strives to maximize security, trust, privacy, and user convenience.
  • Evolve our merchant payment experience, ensuring that onboarding, receiving funds, and enjoying financial services are all as seamless as can be.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in managing product organizations at scale.
  • 8+ years of technical architecture of web applications and/or media products.
  • 8+ years of experience designing user interfaces.
  • 8+ years of experience creating examples through wireframes and mock ups.
  • 8+ years of experience taking a web product idea from concept through launch.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management or product design.
  • BA/BS Degree.
