(...overview text continues…) This role focuses on driving process engineering system management, best practices, and productivity improvement across our Northeast facilities in McElhattan, PA and Lewistown, PA.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross‑functional leaders in Operations, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to align divisional initiatives for the Northeast sites.
• Drive efficiency improvement and scrap reduction through continuous improvement tools across all plants.
• Provide roadmap and training for reliability, center‑lining, pinning, and run‑to‑target processes.
• Set and enforce engineering system standards across the AbHy divisions.
• Own productivity projects, engaging plant personnel to achieve consistent targets.
• Offer expertise and training on software, data analytics, SPC, and related best practices.
• Build and lead a team focused on process reliability and system excellence.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure raw materials and processes meet specifications and design parameters at all sites.
• Operate as an individual contributor and leader as needed.
• Promote safe practices and environmental commitments aligned with company policies.
• Develop proposals, budgets, CERs, and purchase recommendations.
• Develop and facilitate engineering training programs.
• Define engineering improvement objectives and content for the team.
• Facilitate and conduct process engineering workshops.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum ten years of experience in a high‑speed manufacturing environment, leading continuous improvement.
• At least five years of experience with business‑related software systems.
• Exceptional analytical problem‑solving skills; training in SPC and DOE with proven application.
• Track record of implementing new systems and procedures.
• Strong computer proficiency with MS Office and related software.
• Excellent communication skills, executive presence.
• Ability to act as a business partner.
• Data‑driven, disciplined, objective, and detail‑oriented.
• Strong lean manufacturing experience (e.g., material pull systems).
• Strong experience with error‑proofing and design principles.
• Requires 20% travel to other FQ sites and suppliers.
