Job Description

DNA ALIGNMENT

ATC is a Christ-centered, non-profit ministry focused on substance abuse treatment and recovery. Our vision is freeing all people from life-controlling issues through the power of Jesus Christ. This position requires someone who is a born-again, Spirit-led believer and agrees to the Christian doctrines found on the ATC website. This role also requires the individual to live and work in and through these core values:

FAITH Trusting God to do the impossible. Ephesians 3:20

LEADERSHIP Relentless in our efforts to raise up leaders. 1 Timothy 2:2

COMMUNITY Building a collaborative culture in pursuit of our shared vision. Psalm 133:1

INNOVATION Constantly testing new tools, technology, and methods to reach those in our communities. Isaiah 43:19

CULTURAL FIT

Energetic, positive thinker who is humble, hungry, and smart. Humility in always serving others and making the engagement experience powerful, whether it’s a customer, a donor or fellow team member. Hungry to perform with excellence while striving for continuous learning. The ability to be socially and relationally smart in interacting and engaging others on behalf of the ministry, understanding every team member represents ATC.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Partner Relations assures the development of relationships and resources that fund the mission of Adult & Teen Challenge USA. The role carries a personal portfolio of major donors and is responsible for opening new funding channels in the marketplace, among corporations and their foundations, and across churches nationally. This is a relationship-driven, travel-heavy role for someone who is energized by asking people to invest in changed lives.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Development strategy. Partner with the Chief Advancement Officer on major fundraising initiatives, and work alongside senior staff to build and carry out ATCUSA's annual fund development plan.

Major donor portfolio. Carry and grow a portfolio of 60–100 major donors and qualified prospects, moving each relationship through a documented cycle of qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship against annual revenue goals.

Personal solicitation. Conduct face-to-face visits, present funding proposals, and make direct asks for major and multi-year commitments, then steward each gift through reporting and ongoing contact.

Corporate and marketplace giving. Open and grow funding relationships with corporations, Christian-owned businesses, and marketplace leaders, securing sponsorships, cause partnerships, matching gift and employee giving programs, and in‑kind support.

Church partnerships. Deepen relationships with existing church partners and cultivate new ones nationally, across denominations and non‑denominational congregations, without limitation to a defined territory.

Vision casting. Speak in churches, at conferences, and in business and civic gatherings, challenging people to join Adult & Teen Challenge's movement of putting hope within reach for every person struggling with addiction.

Long‑term investment. Share ATCUSA's vision and strategic projects in ways that move partners from one‑time giving toward sustained, multi‑year investment.

Cultivation events. Work with other department leaders to plan and host events that advance relationships, including golf events, partner dinners, center tours, and marketplace gatherings.

Records and reporting. Maintain accurate and current records of all major partner activity in the donor database; provide pipeline forecasts, statistical analysis, and progress reporting to the CAO and board as needed.
