Grid Careers is seeking a Director of Operations to lead and optimize manufacturing and operational functions for electrical switchgear. You will manage day-to-day activities in Oklahoma and oversee the Northeast US plant, ensuring alignment and operational excellence across both sites.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct leadership experience in electrical switchgear manufacturing.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site manufacturing operations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical switchgear manufacturing processes and standards.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop operations and production teams at both sites.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, procurement, and logistics teams to support customer projects.
  • Monitor KPIs, manage operational costs, and improve overall efficiency.

Job description

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing all manufacturing and operational functions for electrical switchgear operations. This role will directly manage day-to-day operations in Oklahoma while overseeing operations in the Northeast US plant, ensuring alignment, consistency, and operational excellence across both locations.
