Job summary

United Way in San Antonio seeks a senior program administrator to oversee area command operations, supervising multiple departments and ensuring policy compliance. You will coordinate grants management and staff performance while liaising with the Area Commander and external partners.

The role requires a Master’s degree and seven years of progressively responsible experience in social services programs, including supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Services, Business Administration, one of the behavioral sciences, or related field.
• Seven years progressively responsible experience coordinating and administering social services programs with at least five years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Area Command staff across Finance, Development, Social Services and Property.
• Acts as liaison and resource to the Area Commander and advisory bodies; guides program operations.
• Develops and implements strategic short/long-range plans with leadership and staff.
