Job summary

Campus is seeking a Director of Operations in Tribeca, NY to lead and continuously improve our Financial Aid and the operational processes that support the student financial experience. Reporting to the COO, you will work with Financial Aid leaders and cross‑functional partners to optimize day‑to‑day operations, solve bottlenecks, and design scalable processes as Campus grows.

This is an active operator role that requires coaching managers, data‑driven decisions, and collaboration with Product

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire high‑performing teams.
• Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a bias toward action and measurable results.
• Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering to implement technology‑enabled operational improvements.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve Financial Aid and the operational processes that support the student financial experience.
• Partner with Financial Aid leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to optimize day‑to‑day operations and design scalable workflows.
• Develop managers and scalable processes as Campus grows.
• Create and maintain SOPs to align cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design and drive adoption of tech‑enabled improvements.
• Establish performance metrics and dashboards to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
