Job summary

Plumbing Solutions, LLC is hiring a Director of Operations to own companywide production execution, scheduling health, manpower utilization, and installation quality across Lexington, Augusta, Greenville, and Florence. This is an execution role with a strong, hands-on field presence.

We seek 7–10 years of multi-location operations leadership in residential construction or plumbing, with a track record of enforcing standards and documenting corrective actions at the branch level.

As we continue to grow, we’re adding a Director of Operations to help strengthen daily operations, support branch performance, and ensure our teams stay aligned with company standards.

The Role

The Director of Operations owns companywide production execution: scheduling health, manpower utilization, installation quality, and branch leadership development across Lexington, Augusta, Greenville, and Florence. This is an execution seat, not a design seat. Our processes, rate sheets, and SOPs already exist. Your job is to make sure they are followed, find out why when they are not, and correct it at the branch. If you want to rebuild a company's systems from scratch, this is the wrong role. What You Will Own

• Four Branch Managers, directly. Their performance, their development, and their accountability.
• Production capacity and start readiness across all markets, so builder commitments are confirmed before schedules are affected.
• Field execution of company installation and conduct standards by branch staff, installers, and subcontractors.
• Branch KPIs: schedule compliance above 95%, labor efficiency at 20 to 23% of revenue, rework dispatch rate under 20%, zero preventable accidents.
• Corrective action and termination decisions at the branch level, following a documented process.
• Real field presence. Branch visits, jobsite verification, and ride-alongs, weekly. This job is not run from a desk.

What We Are Looking For

• 7 to 10 years leading multi-branch or regional operations in residential construction, plumbing, or a comparable trade.
• You have personally terminated a supervisor or manager, followed the process, and documented it.
• You can read a schedule, a labor report, and a job cost sheet, and tell us what is actually wrong.
• You have built a manager into a leader and can name the person and what changed.
• You enforce standards the same way regardless of who is involved, including with tenured or high-producing people.
• You are comfortable being told where the lane boundary is, and staying inside it.
