Job summary

S&P Global is seeking a senior architect in Princeton, NJ to define enterprise DevSecOps standards and secure, scalable software delivery across global teams. You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and drive security-by-design across CI/CD, containerization, and OSS modernization.

The role is hybrid, with a base salary range of $174,000–$200,000 and eligibility for an annual incentive plan. Join a mission to deliver essential intelligence with rigorous security and governance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps/platform engineering roles with leadership impact
• Experience designing secure platform architectures for CI/CD, Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Proficient in artifact management and version control platforms; strong stakeholder management
• Experience embedding security-by-design across delivery, containerization, and software supply chain
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise DevSecOps architecture standards and security-by-design practices
• Design secure CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and artifact governance models
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to align architecture with business priorities and risk management
• Assess emerging OSS technologies and guide platform modernization for productivity and reliability
• Develop architectural documentation, standards, and roadmaps for distributed teams
• Mentor teams on security-by-design principles and platform engineering best practices
