Job summary

Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our nursing department and drive quality care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will oversee staffing, policy execution, and performance improvement initiatives to sustain excellence.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, have prior supervisory experience in geriatric care, and demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to partner with administrators and care teams.

Qualifications

• RN license required with managerial/administrative prowess.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric populations with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, planning, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Leadership: oversee nursing operations in absence of Administrator and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Budget Management: assist in budgeting and resource allocation for the department.
• Team Development: recruit, coach, and evaluate nursing staff for quality care and growth.
• Quality Improvement: monitor and enhance nursing services to promote resident well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Leadership: Assume responsibility in the absence of the Administrator, implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain best practices.

Qualifications

• RN License: Hold a current Registered Nurse license issued by the State Board of Nursing, with demonstrated managerial and administrative prowess.

• Organizational Skills: Proficient in organizing and planning programs, assigning personnel, and evaluating reports and data to drive quality improvement initiatives.
