Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management seeks an experienced RN leader to direct nursing care across a long-term care and sub-acute facility. You will coordinate the clinical team, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgets while upholding high-quality patient care.

This role serves as a key administrator back-up to the Nursing Home Administrator. The ideal candidate holds an ASN or higher, an active RN license in the state, and 1+ years of nursing leadership experience, with preference for

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or higher required.
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• 1+ years nursing leadership experience required.
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing/sub-acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in PC use; able to navigate Windows, MS Office and EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services in a long-term care and skilled nursing/sub-acute facility.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all clinical department aspects, ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, budget oversight, and leadership of clinical staff; serve as backup to the Nursing Home Administrator.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
• One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.
