Neodesha Care and Rehab in Neodesha, KS is hiring a full-time Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and coordinate resident care. The DON will work with a dynamic clinical staff to ensure quality outcomes and regulatory compliance, while overseeing budgeting and operations.

The role requires Kansas RN licensure, CPR certification, and prior nursing leadership in long-term care. Compensation is competitive, with a strong benefits package and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN license.
• Current certification in adult CPR.
• 2+ years of RN experience; 1+ year in long-term care preferred.
• 1+ year nursing management experience including hiring, coaching, scheduling.
• DON/ADON experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Experience tracking and analyzing clinical performance data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for resident care and supervise the nursing team.
• Direct clinical care using the nursing process and assess residents.
• Exercise administrative authority over the Care Center.
• Oversee the community medication management program for safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and pharmacists to coordinate care.
• Establish and maintain Infection Control Program.
• Provide clinical training and evaluate skills of staff.
• Track and report clinical quality data to identify risk.
• Lead quality improvements to enhance resident outcomes.
• Manage nursing budget and align with budget parameters.
• Support regulatory compliance and clinical operations.
• Provide clinical event management and response.
