Job summary

Christian Care Communities, Inc. is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead a team of professionals and ensure high-quality nursing care for residents. The DON will direct staffing, budgeting, and the development of comprehensive care plans, while overseeing QA/QM activities and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes strategic direction, staff supervision, and collaboration with administration to meet organizational goals and ensure continuous improvement in patient care.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
• Required Experience: 3 years’ experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care, or related facility; 5 years’ nursing experience
• Required License and/or Certification: Unencumbered LPN or RN license from Commonwealth of Kentucky

Responsibilities

• Assures adequate nursing staff coverage to meet resident needs.
• Directs, develops, and revises a comprehensive plan of care for residents.
• Oversees budgeting for the nursing department and allocates supplies.
• Leads QA/QM activities, analyzes deficiencies, and implements actions.
• Recruits, hires, and supervises department supervisors; sets operational goals.
