Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Director of Nursing at Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center in Fulton, MO. The DON will supervise nursing staff, ensure clinical quality and educational needs are met, and collaborate with leadership to improve incarcerated patient care.

Experience leading nursing teams in a correctional or similar setting is preferred; Missouri RN license and active CPR/BLS are required, with security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Nursing to join our team at Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center located in Fulton, Missouri.

Role Overview

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for providing clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff in the correctional environment. Works under the direction of the contract manager and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team to improve health care of incarcerated patients.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license
• Previous nursing leadership experience preferred
• Must maintain active CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
• Corrections experience preferred, not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
