Seasons Rehab & Healthcare Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical staff and ensure exceptional patient care. The DON will oversee nursing personnel, set departmental goals, and enforce policies to maintain compliance with regulations and standards of care.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and commitment to high-quality resident outcomes within a 78-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with an active MO license.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility.
• Exemplary clinical acumen and execution of standards of practice.
• Strong command of local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ability to respond calmly and professionally in challenging environments.
• Effective computer skills.
• Interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Nursing Service Department in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
• Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department.
• Develop and enforce policies for compliance and high-quality standards.
• Control budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Resolve issues and deficiencies as needed.
• Manage record-keeping procedures.

Director of Nursing (DON) Job Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities for Director of Nursing (DON):

• Planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of our Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines and regulations and clinical standards of care that govern our facility.
• Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel (RNs, LPNs, CNAs etc.)
• Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department.
• Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards.
• Control budgets and monitor expenditures.
