Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Director of Nursing to join our team at Martin Correctional Institution located in Indiantown, Florida.

The DON will manage nursing services within the correctional facility hospital and provide clinical direction and supervision to the Directors of Nursing. A Nurse with supervisory experience is required, with corrections/forensic exposure preferred. CPR certification and ability to obtain security clearance are needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• RN license or ability to obtain one required.
• Minimum five years of supervisory nursing experience preferred.
• Corrections, forensic, or criminal justice experience preferred.
• Must show/obtain PPD tuberculosis screening documentation.
• Must be CPR certified and able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee nursing services within the correctional facility hospital.
• Provide clinical direction and supervision to Directors of Nursing.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and security requirements.

We are currently seeking a full time Director of Nursing to join our team at Martin Correctional Institution located in Indiantown, Florida.

The Director of Nursing (DON) (Medical) (Florida) is responsible for managing and overseeing the nursing services provided to patients within the correctional facility hospital as well as providing clinical direction and supervision to the Directors of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred
• Corrections, forensic, or criminal justice experience preferred
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
