Open Sky Community Services seeks a strategic Director of Nursing to lead nursing services across residential and community programs in Massachusetts. This senior role focuses on high-quality, person-centered, trauma-informed care, and driving clinical excellence and compliance.

The Director will oversee audits, staff training, and integration of care across behavioral health, developmental services, and housing, shaping organizational strategy and workforce development.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts with Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, required.
• Minimum of seven years progressive nursing experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience in behavioral health, developmental disabilities, or community-based care.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services across residential and community-based programs.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (DPH, DMH, DDS, DCF, etc.).
• Lead audits, surveys and accreditation efforts (e.g., CARF).
• Provide training in trauma-informed care, behavioral health, and medication safety.
• Support integrated care across behavioral health, developmental services, and housing.
