Job summary

Greencroft Communities’ Southfield Village seeks an experienced Director of Nursing to lead health care services, mentoring nursing leaders and shaping resident outcomes. This full-time, exempt role offers a leadership path, budget oversight, regulatory compliance, and close collaboration with residents, families, physicians, and administration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• 1+ year of management experience.
• 5 years of geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of MDS, resident assessments, and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for Health Care services.
• Lead, coach, and develop nursing leaders and team members.
• Oversee staffing, clinical quality, compliance, and performance improvement.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, incidents, assessments, and care plans.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and the Clinical Management Team.
• Partner with residents, families, physicians, and administration.
• Address resident and family concerns with compassion and professionalism.
• Support admissions, Medicare eligibility, and regulatory compliance.
• Help manage nursing department budgets and identify opportunities to improve care and team culture.
