Job summary

Career Strategies seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our healthcare team, overseeing nursing operations and ensuring high-quality resident care while complying with regulatory standards.

The DON will develop policies, manage a team of nurses and caregivers, collaborate with the medical director, monitor care quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgets.

Active NC RN license and at least 2 years in DON or similar leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role
• Active RN license in North Carolina
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and programs
