Job summary

DISA Technologies, Inc. seeks a Director of Regulatory Affairs to lead uranium remediation, licensing, and environmental compliance. This role interfaces with NRC, Agreement States, BLM, and mining regulators to advance project licenses and compliance across sites.

Strong leadership, project management, and regulatory interpretation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will manage multiple licensing milestones, supervise teams, and contribute to business development while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, Health Physics, or related field.
• 10+ years in permitting, licensing, compliance, or project management in uranium mining/milling or related areas.
• Experience interpreting NRC or Agreement State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage radiation safety, environmental compliance, and safety programs.
• Prepare, submit, and track license applications and amendments.
• Coordinate with NRC, DOE, EPA, and state regulators on licensing and compliance.
• Act as radiation safety officer on DISA licenses and lead multi-stakeholder projects.
• Train staff and ensure adherence to DISA policies and safety standards.
