Job description

McMannen United Methodist Church in Durham, NC is seeking a Director of Music Ministry/Accompanist. Organist preferred. Responsibilities include:
-Collaborate with the Pastor to plan music for the worship services.

-Lead worship music (piano/organ and voice) at one worship service on Sundays.

-Direct the choir at rehearsals and have choir music September-May. Organize soloists, 2-4 singer ensembles, or instrumentalists for the offertory music June-August.

-Provide music for special services including Christmas Eve (one service) as well as for weddings and funerals.
