Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in materials management or supply chain in heavy industrial or complex manufacturing.
• 5+ years direct experience with engineered spares and complex materials programs tied to maintenance and operations.
• Expert SAP ERP/MRP proficiency with hands-on operational leadership.
• Advanced expertise in inventory optimization, ABC classification, safety stock modeling, demand planning, and financial valuation.
• Cross-functional communication and presenting strategic roadmaps to exec leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead policy for receiving, inventory, storage, and material delivery; enforce safety and HazMat protocols.
• Drive cross-functional alignment to resolve bottlenecks and align supply chain with production plans.
• Ensure uptime and traceable material flow; coordinate SOX and financial controls to protect inventory.
• Develop Materials Management and Inventory Strategies; implement spares, asset recovery, transfer, and VMI.
• Lead automation and digitization efforts: tools, barcodes, dashboards, and process improvements.
• Define KPIs to prevent stockouts, maximize space, and shorten cycles; enable reservations/work orders.
• Build and mentor a high-performing materials team with accountability and continuous improvement.
