Benchmark Electronics Inc. is seeking a senior manufacturing leader in Tempe to oversee Production Operations and Manufacturing Engineering, including test, product, and process management.

This role drives continuous improvement and cost control across the manufacturing spectrum. The position requires a strong track record in electronics manufacturing leadership, managing large teams, budgets and schedules while ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4 year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent.
• 8+ years electronics manufacturing and engineering experience; Contract manufacturing preferred.
• 8+ years in a leadership role in a multiple or large site (600+ employees and associated revenue/customer base).

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes division business plans aligned to corporate objectives.
• Oversees production engineering and operations to maximize efficiency and quality in test, manufacturing and production.
• Ensure adherence to a production master schedule and respond to deviations to meet customer requirements.
• Develops and implements manufacturing procedures for continuous improvement and competitive positioning.
• Monitors operating costs and implements action plans to improve profitability.
• Ensures orders are manufactured to specifications and meet cost standards.
• Manages department budget and controls expenses.
• Leads with focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
