Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia seeks a Director of Major Gifts to lead a 125-donor portfolio ($25,000+), develop cultivation and stewardship plans, and drive major gifts strategy. You will oversee the Associate Director of Major Gifts and work with the Advancement team to meet strategic goals.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with key donors, strategic planning, and collaboration within a legacy arts education organization.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of fundraising experience.
• Track record of success in managing relationships with individual donors.
• Experience soliciting major gifts; campaign experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Confidentiality and highest ethics standards.
• Ability to be diplomatic, collaborative and autonomous.
• Interest in music education or performing arts is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Portfolio management: manage a portfolio of about 125 major gifts donors ($25,000+), with cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans.
• Staff management: guide the Associate Director of Major Gifts and monitor donor activity to ensure fundraising results and ROI.
• Program planning and strategy: create an annual major gifts plan with goals, align case for support with opportunities, maintain prospect pipelines.
• Departmental leadership: contribute to Advancement leadership, mentor team, and support SVP as thought partner.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
